The Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament, Nabih Berri, discussed with the Director General of Public Security, Major General Abbas Ibrahim, the developments of the general situation in the country and the latest political and security developments.
This was revealed at their meeting today at the House of Representatives’ administrative centre in Ain al-Tina in the city of Beirut.
On the other hand, during his reception for Sheikh Muhammad Assaf, President of the Sunni Sharia Courts in Lebanon, Judge Sheikh Faisal Nasser Al-Din, Head of the Druze Sectarian Courts, and Judge Sheikh Muhammad Kanaan, Head of the Sharia Courts, today, Berri reviewed the circumstances of the Sharia courts in Lebanon and matters pertaining to her work.
