For a period of 5 years .. Former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan was prevented from running for any elections

Following a ruling by the nation’s election committee that he had been appointed officials regarding gifts he received while in power, the former Pakistani prime minister Imran Khan was disqualified from running for any political office for a period of five years, according to a statement made by his attorney.
The lawyer, Johar Khan, stated, “The election committee in Pakistan announced that Imran Khan is involved in corrupt practices, and we will contest this right now before the Islamabad court.

Imran Khan, the former prime minister of Pakistan, was released on bail on Thursday, according to a party spokesman. He is accused of breaking the law against terrorism.
Khan will be able to continue holding protests across the nation to call for early elections thanks to the Anti-Terrorism Court’s ruling.

The former prime minister’s appearance in court is the latest development in a series of political disputes that started in April when the former cricket star was ousted as part of a plan to undermine the National Assembly’s ability to pass legislation.
Former minister of information and member of the Insaf Movement party Fouad Chaudhry claimed that although the court decision was not immediately accessible, Khan had been granted “temporary release” until September 1.

Imran Khan, the former prime minister of Pakistan, was barred from running in any elections for a term of five years.
