The Antonvsky Bridge over the Dnieber River, which was being used for civilian evacuation operations, was bombed by Ukrainian forces on Friday, according to the officials loyal to Moscow in the South Ukraine region.
The vice-president of the pro-Moscow administration in Moscow, Kirill Steremosov, stated, “Four people were slain,” and he added, “The city of Jacon, like the castle, is ready to defend itself.
“While the Ukrainian forces started a counter-attack, the forces loyal to Russia ordered the people to move to the left bank of the Dnieper River.
This kind of exodus is referred to as “displacement” in Kiev.
According to the Russian occupation administration, Kyiv launched 12 long-range Himarm missiles towards a civil traffic hub close to the Antonovsky Bridge, and the Russian air defence system shot down 11 of them.
Russian media showed footage of a wrecked car and backed-up traffic for river crossing vehicles.
Authorities who support Russia accuse Kyiv of bombing residents being evacuated from Jiason.
