Sotheby holds a global auction for the most important holdings of China’s history over 4 thousand years

Sotheby’s global auction house is organizing a global auction that kicks off on the first of November 2022, which celebrates the history of China, through the collection of holdings collected by Dr. Wuan Koan, which covers a period of 4 thousand years of the history of China.

The work of Wuan Cuan (1910–1997) ranges from the earliest Neolithic tools that were produced along the Yellow River to the most exquisite ceramics that were used to adorn Neolithic buildings.
The holdings also cover the Cheng emperors from the last China dynasty, which distinguishes this group from all other special groups of Chinese art that was formed in the mid -twentieth century, and is still one of the last wonderful collections of Chinese art in Europe today.

The third auction house in London is being conducted to commemorate more than 4,000 years of Chinese culture and art history. This sale follows the first auction held in New York in March, the second that set records, and the first auction that was held in London in April. to ceramics, calligraphy, and paintings.
The three sales of the individual owner, which have been staged abroad and feature the finest specimens of practically every category of Chinese art, will conclude with the auction in London.
