The Netherlands executes 6 million animals due to the outbreak of bird flu

Approximately 6 million animals have been put to death by the Dutch government this year as a result of the avian flu outbreak in the nation.
According to the Dutch Food and Consumer Consumer Products Authority in Utrecht, this is the deadliest bird flu outbreak in nearly 20 years.
The poultry industry was damaged mainly as a result of the outbreak of the disease.
In 225 farms, almost 30 million animals were put to death in 2003.

The country’s largest epidemic to date was found on a farm in the southeasterly town of Heithisin, close to the German border, when over 300,000 white fowl were hurt. It will be carried out during the coming days.
The new breed of the virus was initially monitored in the Netherlands a year ago.

According to sources, the “H5N1” strain is extremely contagious and has been detected in 96 locations around the nation, mostly among poultry farmers and in many regions of neighbouring European nations.
