There has been a decline in the rate of new injuries due to Corona virus infection, according to the weekly report of the German Robert Koch Institute for Virus Research.
According to the institute’s study released on Thursday night, there were 8% more new injuries reported within seven days per 100,000 individuals last week than the week before.
Prior to the aforementioned period, the growth rate was at 28% as opposed to 54% two weeks prior.
The signs, however, do not provide a clear picture of the infection situation because experts believe that the actual number of injuries is more than what Robert Koch reported.
According to the institution, 425,000 people sought medical attention last week for cases of Corona infection and symptoms of severe respiratory disease, up from roughly 400,00 persons the week before.
Except for people aged 60 and 79, the institute reported that the extraordinary increase in these levels has decreased.
The institute added that the number of cases of going to the doctor among children at the age of 5 to 14 years also decreased “and this may have had a relationship with autumn holidays in many states. “.
