The Lebanese President receives the credentials of the Vatican ambassadors and the Sultanate of Oman

Lebanese President Michel Aoun received today the credentials of the Vatican Ambassador Monsignor in Lebanon Paulo Borgia and the ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman Ahmed bin Muhammad bin Saeed Al -Saidi.
The Business Government’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Abdullah Bou Habib, as well as other authorities attended the formal ceremonies performed to submit the accreditation paperwork.

The Lebanese song was performed by the army music when the two ambassadors entered the Republican Palace one after the other, and each ambassador’s state’s flag was raised beside the Lebanese flag on the Republican Palace’s mast.

The Ambassador emphasised the need to work on everything that would improve the bilateral ties between the Holy See, the Sultanate of Oman, and Lebanon during the ceremony while also conveying to President Aoun the greetings of Pope Francis and Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Saeed of Amman.

The President of the Republic conveyed his congratulations to the two ambassadors and emphasised that Lebanon is eager to advance bilateral ties in a way that benefits Lebanon, the two nations, and the Lebanese people.

The ambassadors of the Vatican and the Sultanate of Oman present their credentials to the president of Lebanon.
