Dortmund loses the efforts of the Belgian Monier to the World Cup

The German Borussia Dortmund team, Belgian defender Thomas Monier, is missing the stopping period for the World Cup, after he was broken in the face bones during the team’s match against Hanover, which was held on Wednesday in the German Cup.
The athlete underwent surgery and will be out of the lineup for a few weeks, the team announced today, Thursday.

Monier does, however, intend to represent Belgium in the World Cup in Qatar, according to a statement released by the club.
