Despite the fact that the debut date for the Samsung Galaxy folding phones Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 has been scheduled for next August 10, several concerns about these smartphones remain unanswered, as the expected launch cost of these devices remains unknown so far, barring additional leaks.
Prices for these two phones are somewhat more than those observed for their predecessors last year, according to previously leaked store listings obtained by GSMArena. The difference isn’t huge, but it’s there.
While it is disappointing that Samsung has not been able to reduce costs, this leak implies that there will not be a big price hike.
According to unconfirmed store listings, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 will cost 1,864 euros ($1,799) for the base model with 256GB of internal storage. This represents a 64 percent increase over the Galaxy Z Fold 3’s original price of $1,800.
The Galaxy Z Flip 4 will, of course, start at $1,080 (equivalent to $999) for the model with 128GB of storage, which is a little increase over last year’s Z Flip 3. Originally listed for 1049.
