Armed bandits were neutralised at a location several kilometres from the Kadona-Abuja road by the Niger Punch army personnel as part of the continuous campaign to bring the conflict to the bandits’ doorstep.
Actual answers revealed that the forces operating on the basis of trustworthy intelligence data conducted vigorous combat patrols to the Abbasiya-Amali region east of Bollywire in LGA, where they engaged the bandits in fight.
The army defeated the bandits in the bloody conflict, and afterwards demolished their lairs. The dead of two gangs were found, but the forces are still searching the open space as of this report.
There are strong indications that some bandits have escaped with injuries that threaten their lives and may seek medical assistance in public areas.
In order to do this, the local populace was advised against assisting dubious elements and instructed to instead report such activities to Nigeria’s security forces.
