30 people were killed in Chad in clashes between the police and demonstrators

With conflicts between the police and protesters in the Chadian capital, Najamina, the dead toll has increased to 30, including roughly 10 security personnel.
According to France Press, there were five bodies on the grounds of the hospital in the seventh district, the epicentre of the capital’s protests, two of which were marked with the Chadian national flag and three of which had white coverings smeared with blood.

The president of the Chadian Red Cross Association, Al-Khala Ahmed Al-Senussi, declared that “We administer first aid and transport dozens of wounded by car to hospitals” had been established in the sensitive neighbourhoods of the capital.
These conflicts occur following the two-year extension of the transitional phase, which was supposed to end on Thursday, October 20.

But as of the end of September, Mohamed Idris Deby Etteno continued to serve as the nation’s leader until the planning of the free and democratic elections in which Deby will be eligible to run at the conclusion of the second transitional period.

In Chad, conflicts between the police and protesters resulted in 30 fatalities.
