The Egyptian government resolves the controversy over the launch of an application that gives money to citizens

The introduction of the Ministry of Communications’ online loan applications for residents was denied by the media centre for the Egyptian Cabinet, according to several publications.

The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, which denied these reports, stressed that there was no truth to the ministry’s launch of any electronic applications on mobile devices to provide loans to citizens. All electronic applications circulated in this context were false and had no connection to the Ministry, it stressed.
