European Union sanctions against Iran to supply Russia with drones enter into force today

According to today’s tweet from the Czech presidency of the European Union Council, countries in the European Union have resolved to sanction Iran for giving Russia drones built in Iran that were used to wage attacks against Ukraine.
As soon as they are published in the Official Gazette of the European Union, which serves as a formal record of EU rules, the punitive measures are anticipated to take effect later today, on Thursday.

Three people and one entity will have their assets in the European Union frozen, and they are not allowed to enter the European Union.
There will also be increased penalties for two additional people and two additional entities.
In recent days, the Russian army has increased in recent days, operating Iranian -made “Shahid -136” drones over cities and Ukrainian energy facilities as well.
Any drone-related arms sales are denied by Moscow and Tehran.
