Art Complex in Zamalek to hold special art exhibition for late iconic artist Gazbia Sirry on Oct. 23

Egypt’s Minister of Culture Nevine el-Kilani and President of the American University in Cairo Ahmed Dalal will inaugurate an art exhibition for the late iconic artist Gazebia Sirry on October 23 at 7 p. m. in the presence of Khaled Sorour, Dalia Mostafa, and Naglaa Samir, Head of the Graphic Design Department at AUC. The event will take place in the Arts Complex [Aisha Fahmy Palace] in Cairo.

At 8 p.m., the show will open to the public.
This important event comes to mark the first passing anniversary of the pioneering Egyptian artist Gazebia Sirry, in appreciation of her enriching artistic career, which deserves attention and honor as one of the most important symbols of modern Egyptian art.

The exhibition explores the numerous artistic phases that the artist underwent over the course of her extensive career, which spanned more than seven decades. During this time, she produced distinctive works of art that had a significant influence on the local, regional, and global levels.

On October 23, the Art Complex in Zamalek will host a tribute exhibition for the late, legendary artist Gazbia Sirry.
