The Sultanate of Oman refuses to open its airspace to Israeli flights

Al-Madina News: The Israeli newspaper Israel Hayom reported today, Friday, that the Sultanate of Oman refused to allow its airspace to Israeli planes, effectively closing the way to the Far East.
According to the Hebrew publication, this denial implies that Israeli commercial aircraft would be unable to benefit from the opening of Saudi airspace to Israeli commercial aircraft in order to reduce flight distances to destinations in the Far East such as India, Thailand, and China.

According to Yoel Gujansky, an analyst at the Israeli National Security Research Center, this Omani reluctance is due to Iranian pressure on the Sultanate of Oman.

The Sultanate of Oman refuses to let Israeli planes inside its airspace.
