The match referee calculated a penalty kick in favor of Newcastle after returning to video technology after a mistake from Gomez, but Liverpool goalkeeper Alison Baker succeeded in tackling it in the 44th minute.
Liverpool advanced on West Ham with a goal in the first half of the game, and there was no response.
