Central Statistics: The value of projects under implementation amounted to 28.4 billion pounds in 2021

In a statement released today, Wednesday, the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics noted that, compared to the prior fiscal year, the net capital invested by the public sector in the nation increased by 16.2%.
According to the agency’s statement, the value of the projects being implemented increased by 76.6% from 16.1 billion pounds in 2019-2020 to 28.4 billion pounds in 2020–2021.

According to the data, which does not include banks and insurance firms, net public sector capital investment increased from 90.9 billion pounds in 2019-2020 to 105.6 (5.39 billion dollars) billion pounds in 2020-2021.
In the same year, wages in the public sector climbed by 8%, totaling 32. 1 billion pounds as opposed to 29. 7 billion pounds in 2019-2020.
In the case of the public business sector, net invested capital rose by 1.3% to 583.

Compared to 576. 1 billion pounds in 2019–2020, there will be 5 billion pounds in 2020–21.
From 170. 4 billion pounds in 2019–2020 to 173. 6 billion pounds in 2020–21, the capital invested in the sector increased by 1.9%.
The value of fixed assets in the sector increased 631. 6 billion pounds in 2020-2021 compared to 617. 0 billion pounds in the previous fiscal year, an increase of 2. 4 percent.

An important point to remember is that the Egyptian government approved the implementation of various social spacing policies at the end of the 2019–2020 budget year, including a night curfew that started in March 2020.

According to central statistics, there were 28.4 billion pounds worth of projects being implemented in 2021.
