Moscow: Sanctions will not change our policy

According to Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov, the West’s sanctions strategy has forced Russia to seek to mobilise its own capabilities, and the sanctions will not force Moscow to modify its political orientation.
In a press statement issued today, Friday, he continued, “We must continue concentrated work on mobilising our own strengths in order to achieve growth and tackle challenges in the industrial sector, which are tied to difficulties in making payments and foreign commerce.”

He emphasised that Russia is working nonstop, and that we must drive our agenda further within.
In response to the reluctance of EU nations to give visas to Russian residents, the Deputy Foreign Minister stated that Moscow does not want to pull down the Iron Curtain, but the West wants, and that Russia would find methods to resolve such issues.

This Iron Curtain is being torn down by individuals who still cannot see anything other than neoliberal ideology as the only conceivable one for the entire planet, he continued.
It should be noted that a number of Western countries have lately asked for Russian people to be barred from entering Schengen countries.

Sanctions will not influence our policy, according to Moscow.
