The integration of Northern Macedonia into the European Union by 2030, according to Slovenia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Tania Vagon, is a feasible and realistic objective.
Vagon was described by the Balkan News Network, an outlet that focuses on Eastern European and Eurasia events, as saying that while the operation’s beginning was challenging, it is now crucial to concentrate on the reform process that benefits all citizens.

She expressed her desire to increase the annual exchange of goods between Slovenia and North Macedonia to 500 million euros after meeting with Bogar Othmani, the foreign minister of the Northern Republic of Macedonia, and other officials including the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs in Northern Macedonia. He also expressed their willingness to support Slovenian businesses’ entry into the northern Macedonian markets.
Vagon and Ottoman praised the two nations’ excellent cooperation, particularly in the political and economic spheres.
