Greta Tonberg, a Swedish climate activist, declared her determination to continue her work to protect the climate, but she will likely operate covertly in the near future.
Tonberg stated: “I will continue to do a lot, but not like this in the media” in remarks to the “Brigitte de Green” publication.
It’s important to listen to those who are most impacted by the climate issue, Tonberg said, adding that it’s time to share the microphone.
In response to the debate over nuclear energy in Germany, Tonberg, 19, said that nuclear power plants can be preferred to coal, and she added: “My personal opinion is that it is wrong to stop them (Nuclear power plants) if coal is the alternative. Here, I am not speaking on behalf of the days of gathering days for the future.
Swedish campaigner Tonberg declares that she will carry on working in the future while avoiding public appearances.
