Poland receives more than 144 million euros from Europe to support Ukrainian refugees

Today, Wednesday, Polish Interior Minister Marius Kaminski revealed that his nation has received funds from the European Union in the amount of EUR 144.6 million to assist it in covering the costs of hosting Ukrainian migrants.
According to claims made by “Radio Poland,” he continued, “the European contribution, although it is little because it only covers a portion of the costs that our country has suffered, nevertheless signifies that Europe acknowledges the primary role that Poland has played in assisting Ukraine.

The European Union should be in charge of providing aid like his country, according to Kaminski, who also emphasised that his country bore the greatest burden in supporting Ukraine and its citizens by sending humanitarian aid and specialised security equipment, as well as by welcoming hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians.
