A high-level Vietnamese team was hosted by the Supreme Council of Culture at the Secretariat of Dr. Hisham Azmy to examine ways to strengthen collaboration between Cairo and Hanoi in the areas of culture, the arts, and the preservation of history and crafts.
A high-level delegation from the Ministry of Culture, including Dr. Hisham Azmi Al-Amin, General of the Supreme Council of Culture, and Dr.
Nahla Imam, Mohamed Abdel Hafez Nassef, who serves as the Minister of Culture’s advisor on illegal heritage, Drs. Mohamed Abdel Dayem, Muhammad Shabana, Hanna Naim, Professor Muhammad Baghdad, and Haitham Younis, who is the head of the Central Administration of the People.
The Vietnamese delegation was led by Mr. Najwin Van Fung, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee in Hanoi, and included Mr. Chu Shwan Dong, Vice-Chairman of the People’s Committee in Hanoi, and Mr. Fam Koy Tian, Vice-President of the People’s Assembly in Hanoi. The Egyptian delegation presented Egypt’s experience in preserving heritage and cultural industries during the discussion of the two nations’ potential for cooperation.
