In collaboration with the Egyptian chapter of the international game developers associations and the “2024 Studios” Foundation, the Games Development Academy at the Institute of IT Institute will host the annual forum for independent game developers for the year 2022 on October 29 at the Institute’s headquarters in the Smart Village.
The forum, which is the largest annual gathering of independent digital game developers, aims to support the growth of digital games in Egypt and the Middle East and North Africa region in particular. It also reflects the state’s desire to support young people who are talented and creative in the fields of information technology, software, and digital games.
As the forum offers the chance to present, test, and review games in the independent games exhibition, and allows gamers to experience new games before they are released in the markets, the forum for professionals, amateurs, and students interested in digital games will participate in the forum.
It is important to note that the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology’s training branch, the Information Technology Institute, was founded in 1993. In collaboration with a wide range of partners, the institute offers a wide range of professional programmes on a global level for capacity building, hands-on training, and identifying the newest technology trends, for university students, graduates, academics, and professionals

The annual forum for independent game creators is organised by the Institute of Information Technology in 2022.
