“Al -Karma” issues an Arabic translation of a novel. I will remain here for the Italian Marco in Zano

The book “I will remain here” by Italian author Marco Palzano was recently translated into Arabic and published by Dar Al-Karma Publishing in Cairo. The translator is Amani Habashi.
The story takes set in 1939, when the Mossolini government fascinates the inhabitants of Germany who speak German between immigration to Germany and staying in Italy as second-class citizens, posing the most severe challenge to a poetic mountain community in the southern Terol region of Italy.

Through the protagonist teacher Tina, who selects her community and home with her husband Erish, the reader follows the story’s developments. And even after the fascists forbid her from working, she keeps on tutoring kids covertly in barns and caves. When the government decides to build a tank, homes and fields will be drowned, Terina resists everything it possesses.
