Second death in Victoria with more flooding predicted

In Victoria’s catastrophic flooding, a second man’s death has been confirmed.
A 65-year-old man’s body was discovered in the Victoria town of Nathalia, which is northwest of Shepparton.
This morning, a family member discovered his body in floodwater.
Daniel Andrews, the premier of Victoria, stated that it was his “sad responsibility” to confirm the information.
“We offer his family our sincere condolences; he and everyone in the community are in our thoughts and prayers.

At the proper time, Victoria Police will disclose more information on that occurrence.
The Murray River in Echuca, which is anticipated to peak late on Friday or Saturday, is still causing anxiety.
Today, residents of Moama, which is also on the ricer, have been told to leave despite concerns that they would be cut off.
400 aid requests and about 26 rescues had been made in the previous 24 hours.
Going forward, there is some positive news, though.

According to the ABC, the Bureau of Meteorology is less concerned about the impending second wave of rain.
Kevin Parkin, a senior meteorologist, said: “We’re not expecting a return to major floods because the anticipated rainfall over the coming days is not projected to be anywhere near as broad, intense, or heavy.”
According to him, Sunday’s forecast was looking better than anticipated.

There was some worry that we would experience numerous large falls on Sunday, but that is no longer a possibility, he added.
