Julian Nagelsmann, the head coach of Bayern Munich, thinks that Jamal Musiala, the star of his squad, and the young Englishman Jude Bingham, a star for Borussia Dortmund, deserve the “Cuba” award for the best young player in the world more than Barcelona’s Spaniard player.
Barcelona won the prize for the second year in a row after Bidri won it in 2021. It is given to the finest player in the world under the age of 21.
The Real Madrid player Eduardo Kamavinga won the prize ahead of Moscaleta and Blengham, who placed third and fourth, respectively.
Before Bayern faced Augsburg in the German Cup, Nagelsman responded, “You are wearing club glasses,” when questioned about Moscala’s prize.
“For me, the existence of Blengham, a better season than the winner, is the beauty of Moussalia. Javi is an amazing player, and I’m pleased for him too.”
