Germany intends to fund a new package of inflation-fighting aid.

German Afford Minister Christian Lindner declared today, Friday, that his country can finance a new aid package in the face of inflation.
Lindner told Radio Monte Carlo International that the new package of assistance measures is aimed at low- and middle-income households and would include measures for energy-intensive industries.

Economy Minister Robert Habeck, for his part, predicted that the impending energy crisis would make the fall and winter difficult, pointing out that Germans will face an increase in heating and electricity bills in the fall as a result of the government’s decision to allow higher energy prices to be passed on to the final consumer.

Germany proposes to support a fresh round of inflation-fighting assistance.
