Jordan: We support all Saudi steps to protect its security and interests

The Saudi Arabian government’s efforts to safeguard its security, stability, and interests are supported by the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which made the announcement today, Tuesday.
According to the Jordan News Agency, Ambassador Sinan Al-Majali, the ministry’s spokesperson, said, “The ministry is watching the interest of reactions to the OPEC+resolution, to cut oil production and the relations formed by the decision” (Petra).

The organisation of supply and demand, protection of producer and consumer interests, and stability of the oil markets are all technical issues that must be addressed in a way that is close to technical foundations and free of political interactions that do not advance these objectives and the interests of all parties, he added.

Al-Majali emphasised the necessity of addressing this issue through a direct and balanced dialogue between the Kingdom and the United States of America, as well as within the framework of the partnership spirit that unites the two nations. This partnership is significant in efforts to uphold security and stability in the region and abroad, reflecting the centrality of Saudi Arabia’s primary role in it as well as the significance of the United States of America’s role.

The fact that Saudi Arabia rejected calls for OPEC+ to cut oil output by two million barrels per day as of November is notable.
The coalition’s main objective, the stability of the market and preventing oscillations, is the sole justification for the action, according to a previous statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Kingdom expressed its complete rejection of the statements that spoke about its bias in international conflicts.

“The Kingdom refuses to consider OPEC+ based on political reasons against America,” the Saudi Foreign Ministry declared.
The members of OPEC+announced at the end of their meeting on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, that production was reduced by two million barrels per day in November, according to the group’s statement, and the extension of the “Declaration of Cooperation” until the end of 2023, provided that ministerial meetings are held every 6 months..

Jordan: We back all Saudi Arabian efforts to safeguard its security and interests.
