The Indian Ministry of Health said today, Friday, that 15,754 new cases of the developing coronavirus Covid-19 were registered in the previous 24 hours, raising the country’s total verified cases of the virus to 44 million, 314,618 instances since the outbreak’s commencement.
According to the Indian station (NDTV) in its English-language broadcast, the ministry also reported that 47 additional deaths due to coronavirus infection were documented in the country during the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths to 527,253. The government also reported that the number of active cases in India has reached 101,830, with 43,685,535 persons recovering from the illness in the past 24 hours.
Within 24 hours, India registers 15,754 new corona cases.
