Four men found shot, dismembered in Oklahoma river

Police reported today that four guys from Oklahoma who were last seen riding their bicycles more than a week ago were shot and dismembered, and that a man who was thought to be an interested party has since vanished.
According to Okmulgee Police Chief Joe Prentice, the four missing friends’ bodies—Mark Chastain, 32; Billy Chastain, 30; Mike Sparks, 32; and Alex Stevens, 29—were discovered late last week in the Deep Fork River.
Riding the evening of October 9, the males are thought to have left a residence in Okmulgee on bicycles.

The formal cause of death, according to the police chief, is still under investigation, although all four of the males had gunshot wounds, and their bodies had been severed.
A local scrap yard owner who was questioned by police on Friday (local time) has since been reported missing and may be suicide, according to Prentice. No complaints have been made.
The bodies were discovered on Friday after a passerby saw something suspicious in the river near a bridge, police said.

According to Prentice, the bicycles have not yet been located.
The males were all from Okmulgee, a town of about 11,000 people located roughly 65 kilometres south of Tulsa.

In Oklahoma river, four men were discovered shot and decapitated.
