The price of the dollar today in Lebanon stabilized during evening trading Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at the parallel informal market, to range between 4050 and 4100 pounds per one dollar, which is the same price when closing trading yesterday, according to local media.
Against the Lebanese lira, the dollar is currently trading around 4150 pounds to the dollar in some regions.
According to the pricing of the exchange of operations carried out by banks and exchange institutions on the platform, the volume of trading on a banking platform on October 17 was 60 million dollars, at a rate of 30100 Lebanese pounds per dollar.
Through a banking system, the exchange rate between the dollar and the Turkish lira was set at 29,800 Lebanese pounds.
The Central Bank of Lebanon announced a new exchange rate for withdrawing from dollar deposits in Lebanese pounds at 8,000 pounds for the dollar.
After falling from this level during yesterday’s trade, the price of a dollar increased on Monday in Lebanon on the unofficial (black) parallel market to reach 40050 and 40100 pounds.
