The rise of the Syrian pound against the dollar during evening trading today, Tuesday

The price of the dollar decreased in the secondary (black) market today, Tuesday, October 18, 2022, during evening trade.
During Tuesday’s nighttime trading, the Syrian pound also increased.
In Syria, the value of the dollar dropped today, with the informal (black) parallel market falling to a level of 4865 and 4890 pounds, respectively, compared to 4870 and 4900 pounds at the close of trading yesterday.

As of the close of yesterday’s activities, the price of the euro in Syria had been recorded on the unofficial (black) parallel market as 4768 pounds for purchase and 4798 pounds for sale, respectively.

The price of the pound sterling today in Syria, at the informal (black) parallel market, was about 5543 pounds for purchase, 5581 pounds for sale, compared to 5431 pounds for purchase, and 5475 pounds for sale yesterday
On Tuesday, October 18, at the parallel (black) market, the Saudi riyal was valued at roughly 1293 pounds for purchase and 1302 pounds for sale.

The price of the UAE dirham today in Syria hit 1322 pounds for purchases and 1332 pounds for sales in the unofficial (black) parallel market.
The price of the Kuwaiti dinar was 15686 pounds for purchase and 15792 pounds for sell when trading began on Tuesday morning at the informal (black) parallel market in Syria.

The policy of “rationalising imports” by reducing the import bill from 2011 to 2021 by 77%, while the value of the bill has decreased from the beginning of this year until the end of last May by 14%, compared to the same period of last year, is the cause of the decline in the price of the dollar against the Syrian pound today, Tuesday, October 18.
