Agriculture Minister Derek Johnson announced on Tuesday that Manitoba has created a new website to assist food and agri-product entrepreneurs, enterprises, and organisations.
“Whether you have a new food product idea, you see an unmet demand for local food, or you want to grow a food business, the Business Pathways website can help you build your future in food,” said Johnson.
“This comprehensive resource fosters economic development and provides the business management, product and process development and marketing support that new and existing agri-food businesses need to effectively enter and compete in the domestic and global marketplaces. ”
Resources, activities, and services offered by commercial service providers and industry partners are featured on the website.
According to Johnson, it offers agri-food enterprises specialised knowledge and resources as they establish themselves, expand, grow, and go through transitions.
The launch of the new website coincides with small business week, which takes place from October 16 to October 22.
