Despite the heavy penalties that the US administration issued against Moscow for its military operation in Ukraine and the intensity of its criticism of Moscow, the US government confirmed that NATO will not intervene in the Russian-Ukrainian war.
The American delegate in NATO, Julian Smith, stressed during a conference in Berlin on the foreign policy of the alliance, today, Tuesday, that her country and defense alliance members will not allow NATO to become a party to the conflict with Russia.
She also stated that all allies have agreed to refrain from sending lethal weapons to Ukraine, according to a correspondent for Al-Arabiya/Al-Hadath.
She stated that the alliance nations are working to create coordinated strategies to deal with Beijing in regards to the Chinese issue.
NATO is presently concentrating on the defence and investment plan to secure this, she continued.
It is noteworthy that the tension between Moscow and the West had reached the highest levels on the impact of the Russian military operation on the lands of the Western neighbor, which has continued since last February 24.
