Abdul Karim Al-Daghmi, Speaker of the Jordanian House of Representatives, emphasised that the Palestinian issue is the key issue in the Middle East and noted that Israel rejects the global community’s hearing and seeing the need to grant the Palestinians their legal rights, which are protected by international law.

He denied that Jordan’s executive authority and the legislative authority, which is represented by members of the House of Representatives, have different perspectives on the Palestinian issue. and a common position on the Palestinian issue.

Al -Daghmi pointed out that the Palestinian issue is always present in the meetings of the Jordanian monarch with Western leaders, and in all the forums, meetings and meetings that it holds, which has the relations of respect and appreciation by the leaders and officials of the whole world.
He pointed out that Jordan has had parliamentary experience for a long time, dating back to the country’s founding, when it was known as the Emirate of the Legislative Council until the new constitution was adopted and its name changed to the House of Representatives.
He emphasised that Jordan is a state of genuine law and institutions, not just words, and that it defends its citizens’ rights and ensures their freedom of expression. He noted that the rights and freedom of expression enjoyed by Jordanians are identical to those found in many Western nations.
Al-Daghmi mentioned the difficulties Jordan is currently facing, the most significant of which are economic difficulties brought on by a shortage of resources, as well as the suspension of aid, wars, and crises in surrounding nations.
Regarding the security risks Jordan has along its northern border, Al-Daghmi stated: “Yes, the risk exists, and the cause is that the official Syrian state does not control all of its areas, opening up opportunities for militias in the drug trade, which has become prevalent in southern Syria.
”
Al-Daghmi emphasised that the Jordanian military forces are fully doing their duties to safeguard Jordan and its borders from the threat posed by these militias and drug smuggling.
