For the first time since June, the price of gas in Europe is $ 1250

Following today’s trading, gas prices in Europe dropped for the first time since June 15 and reached about $1250 per thousand cubic metres.
According to the London Stock Exchange, the price of future futures decreased in the “TTF” center of the Netherlands to $ 1,253 per thousand cubic meters, or 123,165 euros per megawat/hour, while the total decrease in the cost of gas per day exceeded 13%.

The price decrease is due to the approaching of the European Union gas reserves, the relatively warm weather in the region and the significant increase in the average electricity generation share using wind energy.
