According to representatives from both countries, Ukraine and Russia put an end to their exchange of more than 200 inmates.
“108 of the Ukrainian female soldiers and cultures, to the country,” the Ukrainian presidential office declared.
Ukraine’s chief of staff André Yermak declared on a Telegram channel, “Ukraine does not give up anyone.”
The release of 110 Russian detainees, including 72 Russians from civilian ships detained in Ukraine since the war’s start in February, was also verified by the Russian Ministry of Defense and the Moscow-aligned authorities in Donetsk.
The most recent swap followed a comparable one last week in which the two sides traded dozens of soldiers in two batches.
Ukraine and Russia exchanged more than 200 inmates.
