Lewandowski scores the Muller Award for Best Approach

During the Golden Ball Monday in Paris, Polish-Spain striker Robert Lewandowski earned the Gender Muller Award for the best scorer in the world for the second year in a row.
Lewandowski, 34, scored 57 goals in 56 games in all competitions for Barcelona this past season after moving there from Bayern Munich for 45 million euros this summer (50 goals in the club and 7 with his country).
In 50 appearances in many competitions during the 2020–21 season, Lewandowski scored 56 goals.

Knowing that during the 2020–2021 season, he would set a new record by scoring 41 goals in 29 games, surpassing the late legend Gender Muller, who had been holding the record for more than 50 years, the Polish, in its final season with the Bavarian team, was named the German league’s top scorer with 35 goals in 34 games (since the 1971-1972 season).

Lewandowski has scored 14 goals in 13 games for Barcelona since the season’s start, including 9 in the Spanish League.

The Muller Award for Best Approach goes to Lewandowski.
