The South Korean President holds discussions with the head of the International Olympic Committee

Today, Monday, in the presidential office in the nation’s capital Seoul, South Korean Head Yun Siuk-ol met with Thomas Bach, president of the International Olympic Committee, and other athletes.

Yun said – according to the South Korean News Agency, “Yonhap” – “We are deeply dedicated to dedication to the National Olympic Committees Union and its serious work to spread the Olympic spirit of peace and reconciliation through sports, at a time when everyone suffers from problems due to the international pandemic and conflicts. ”
Yoon called for support of the Federation conference in Seoul and emphasised the significance of the concepts of freedom and solidarity in sports.

This week, the Vice-President of the Federation of Asia Yu Zaching, the Acting President of the National Olympic Committees Robin Mitchell, the Former Secretary-General of the United Nations Ban Ki-Moon, who is the Chairman of the Ethics Committee of the Olympic Committee International, Minister of Culture “Park Bo,” and the President of the Olympic Committee, Seoul, visit the General Assembly of the National Olympic Committees Union.

The General Assembly is anticipated to include some 800 sports leaders from around the globe, including members from 205 national Olympic committees.
