As part of the third phase of the preparations for the World Cup being held by Qatar starting next month, the first Saudi national football squad arrived in the Emirati capital Abu Dhabi on Monday. The camp will remain there through November 10.
Al-Akhdar will participate in 5 friendlies during his camp. The first will be between Macedonia and Macedonia on October 22 at the Zayed Sports City Stadium, followed by Albania and Honduras on October 26 and October 30 at the Al Nahyan Stadium, Iceland on November 6 at the Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium, and Panama on October 10 at the Zayed Sports City Stadium.
The Saudi national team was placed in the third group, along with Argentina, Mexico, and Poland, for the 2022 World Cup.
Arriving at Abu Dhabi is the mission of the Saudi national team.
