Ruby Fowler, Liverpool’s all-time leading scorer, admitted that he wishes Egyptian star Mohamed Salah had left the team last summer. Salah is on the verge of surpassing Fowler’s record for most goals scored by the Red Club in the Premier League.

Salah scored the winning goal for Liverpool against Manchester City on Sunday to reach the number 121 in the English Premier League, and only 7 goals separated from the equivalent of the Fowler number, and he is expected to break the number in the current season.
I was the lone Liverpool supporter who desired Salah would leave the club last summer, Fowler claimed in his remarks, which were based on an analysis of Sunday’s English Premier League games.

And he followed: Of course, I am joking when I say that, Salah is wonderful and I will definitely break my numbers, I am happy with my career and my goals that I have achieved, someone will break my numbers in the near future and I will have to coexist with this.
Beginning with the 2017–18 season, Salah participated in 189 matches for Liverpool in the English Premier League, scoring 121 goals and providing 53 assists.

Salah’s exit is desired by Liverpool’s leading scorer out of concern of breaking his number.
