Masrawy reveals Mohamed Salah’s position on attending the “Golden Ball” party

The “Ballon Dor,” or the Golden Ball, set for Monday night in Paris, France, will not feature Liverpool’s Egyptian forward Mohamed Salah.
The ceremony, in which the famous French magazine “France Football” is awarded the “Golden Ball” award for the best player in the world for the year 2022, at 09:00 pm Cairo time.

Salah received an invitation to the ceremony from the award management, according to a source who spoke to Masrawy today, Monday, but he will not go.
In advance of the West Ham United match planned for next Wednesday in the 12th round of the English Premier League “Premier League,” the source noted that Salah did not fly to the French capital, where he coordinates his team’s training.

Salah entered the 30-name preliminary list of nominees for the prize.
Salah came in at number seven in last year’s prize standing.
Press reports indicate that Karim Benzema, the Real Madrid striker, is the closest to winning the award this year after leading the royal team to crown the Champions League title last season.

Salah scored a goal against Manchester City on Sunday to lead his team to achieve a valuable victory (1-0) at Anfield at the top of the 11th round of the English Premier League.
After fasting for five straight games, Salah now has his first goal in the competition.
