Syrian Foreign Minister: The repeated Israeli attacks on our lands threaten peace and security in the region

Dr. Faisal Al-Miqdad, the foreign minister and expatriate of Syria, emphasised that the repeated Israeli attacks on Syrian territory violated the sovereignty of his country, broke international law and the UN Charter, and threatened regional peace and security. He urged the UN to fulfil its mandate under the UN Charter in this regard.

According to the Syrian News Agency, the UN Secretary-special General’s representative to Syria, Gear Pederson, discussed the most recent developments regarding matters of shared concern and developments in Syria during a meeting with the Syrian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates today, Monday (SANA).

For his part, Pederson gave a speech outlining the rationale behind his most recent travels to a number of nations, the encounters he had with government representatives there, and the steps taken to restart the constitution discussion committee’s work.

The continuous Israeli attacks on our lands pose a threat to regional stability, according to the foreign minister of Syria.
