On October 16 at 11 a.m., the Bibliotheca Alexandrina will host a number of lectures and artistic and cultural events to commemorate its 20th founding anniversary.
The opening of an exhibition titled “The Library of Alexandria in Twenty Years – Revival,” the showing of the animated film “Tia in the Library of Alexandria,” which was created by the BA, and a concert by the Bibliotheca Alexandrina Orchestra will all be part of the celebrations. Public figures, senior government officials, intellectuals, and thinkers will all be in attendance.
For the occasion of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina’s twentieth anniversary, the structure will also be lit up at night.
On October 16, Bibliotheca Alexandrina will commemorate 20 years since its founding.
