Rosario Central blows a surprise by beating River Plate in the Argentine League

In the 26th round of the Argentine Premier League football, Rosario Central stunned River Plate by defeating them at home at the “Montestall” stadium at halftime on Monday.
At the same stage, Patronono defeated Independent on Panfield and Godoy Cruz, each by a score of 1 to 0.

While River Plate’s score remained at 44 points in fourth place and was unable to move up to the second spot, held by Rising Club with 47 points, Rosario Central increased its score to 31 points in nineteenth place.
Alejo Velez scored twice for Rosario Central in the 14th and 49th minutes to take the lead. River Plate answered in the 88th minute with a goal from Matthias Suarez, and in the last seconds of the game, Juan Kentero for River Plate.

Patronono defeated Godoy Cruz with a single goal scored by Jonas Asifido from a penalty kick in the ninth minute, to raise its score to 37 points in the tenth place and the balance of Godoy Cruz is freezing at 35 points in the twelfth place.
Damian Batalini’s goal for Independent in the 54th minute helped them upset Banfield as well. In the 61st minute, Luciano Abakasis was kicked off the field for Banfield to receive the second warning.

Banfield’s score remained at 29 points in twenty-third position while Independent boosted his score to 34 points in thirteenth.

River Plate gets defeated by Rosario Central in the Argentine League, spoiling the surprise.
