The International Lakes Festival for Comedies in Poenis On Winerir in Britain, exhibitions, live drawing, workshops, and comic fees are just a few of the events that make up one of the comic festivals that draw internationally renowned artists, the Lakes Festival.
The tenth annual festival will focus on the environment, the climate issue, and pressure on the natural world. According to director Jolie Tate, comic stories “enjoy a remarkable power to challenge our ideas and opinions” and “I think it may be a vehicle for positive change.”
Mahdi Al-Anasi, a Moroccan comic and majestic artist, created a sizable mural showing the Arctic of Shar, a rare species of fish still found in Winerrir but vulnerable to acidic water and pollution. The artist expressed his hope that “the mural draws some attention to the changing and high conditions Temperatures” in the lake.
According to the BBC, he stated: “I hope that there are other drawings in Winerrin besides the ones I draw on the wall.
The works of other artists participating in the festival will also explore climate change and environmental issues, such as a collection of written drawings and observations titled “What is and what is” by Belgian artist Godth Vanstings and Dutch artist Eva Hilhour, who thought about their two-week visit to Kendall to hear about the people’s experiences with flooding, particularly during the storm Dizmond in 2015, which caused extensive damage.
The committee, called “Ten years to save the world,” was supported by the British Council to explore climate change through art, science, and digital technology.
