The League of Arab States’ Secretary-General, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, and Algeria’s Foreign Minister, Ramtan Lamamra, emphasised the significance of Arab unity and safeguarding the greater interests of the Arab people.

This occurred during a working session that included the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, who is visiting Algeria on business. The working session was part of ongoing coordination for the preparations for the Arab summit that Algeria will host on the first and second of next November.

In response to the aspirations of the Arab peoples, who long to anticipate the bright futures of collective Arab action, the Secretary-General of the Arab League and the Algerian Foreign Minister expressed their satisfaction with the level of coordination between Algeria and the League of Arab States to surround this significant Arab entitlement to all success factors.

In this session, the final one before the summit, the parties reviewed the key items on the agenda for this entitlement and discussed the potential for developing ambitious decisions that would allow for the creation of a new dynamic to strengthen joint Arab action and ensure a collective and compatible response.
