The massive security deployment in Paris, the capital of France, ahead of the protests against the high cost of living was seen on camera by the “TV Yé” YouTube channel on Sunday.
The channel’s owner used a drone to take pictures of the police cars.
The video showed an entire street and was occupied by white security cars, while the police stood along the sidewalk while waiting for the protesters.
The French police today used tear gas to remove hundreds of demonstrators who were protesting the high cost of living and the ongoing fuel crisis in the nation’s capital, Paris.
According to the protest’s organisers, there were 140 thousand demonstrators overall.
Increasing inflation and high energy and food prices in France prompted citizens to call for the street to protest the situation and to demand the government to improve wages.
