The Prime Minister of Iraq, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, confirmed today, Sunday, that the government has taken legal action through the competent judiciary and the Integrity and has provided all the documents, evidence, and evidence that help reveal the fact that five Iraqi companies stole $2 billion and $500 million from the Tax Authority trusts in the Rafidain Government Bank.

The theft of 2.5 billion dollars from the General Tax Authority and the Rafidain Bank at the Ministry of Finance was discovered, according to an investigation committee, Ihsan Abdul Jabbar, the Iraqi Oil Minister in charge of the Acting Ministry of Finance Administration, announced yesterday, Saturday.

“The group that committed these thefts and handed them over to the appropriate authorities has been reached,” he continued, “and we were not the target of any pressure or compromise to prevent us from carrying out our job in preserving public funds.

It is anticipated that the Integrity Commission in the Iraqi parliament will meet on Wednesday in the presence of the Oil Minister, the agents of the Ministry, and the general managers of the General Tax Authority and the Rafidain Bank to discuss the specifics of the process of the embezzlement of $2 billion and $500 million from the Secretariat of the General Tax Authority in the Rafidain Bank by five agents of Iraqi companies using illegal methods.

Al-Kazemi: My government has provided the documentation that show that $2,500,000,000,000 has been embezzled.
