Igor Krasnov, the Russian prosecutor, arrived in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on a business trip, according to TASS.
The head of the National Committee for Anti-Corruption, Mazen bin Ibrahim Al-Qazous, and the prosecutor in the Kingdom, Saud bin Abdullah Al-Mujab Al-Sharif, are among the people who will be met with, according to the TASS agency, which is quoting the Russian Prosecutor’s Office press office.
“In January 2022, Igor Krasnov received his Saudi colleague who travelled to Moscow at the head of a foreign group to take part in the 300th anniversary celebrations of the Prosecutor’s Office’s founding in Russia.
The two sides reviewed the bilateral cooperation project at the meeting, which entails fighting against crimes against the environment, electronic crimes, illicit trading of encrypted currencies, criminal re-assets from overseas, and the protection of minors’ rights.
During the visit, this document is expected to be signed.
The Prosecution Office staff in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will participate in training exercises with representatives of the Russian delegation on the topics that affect both parties.
